CMC’s membership is broad-based. It includes individuals who are committed to promoting high standards in museum practice, fostering professional growth and a spirit of cooperation among themselves and those in related fields. CMC encourages participation through sharing varied experiences to solve problems, exchange ideas, and distribute information. If this appeals to you, then read on.
Professional Membership is open to all museum employees working within the State of Texas who perform tasks related to the care and management of museum collections. Professional members have voting privileges and must be members of the Texas Association of Museums (TAM). Associate Membership is open to anyone who expresses interest in supporting the objectives of the Committee-such as shipping and insurance companies, suppliers of materials or services, volunteers, students, retirees and museum employees who live outside Texas. Associate members receive all benefits of Professional members except voting privileges. |

Statewide Workshops Quarterly Newsletter Members-Only Resource Materials, such as the Environmental Monitoring Kits Access to a Network of Other Knowledgeable Professionals CMC Annual Meeting during the TAM Annual Meeting Scholarship Opportunity to attend the TAM Annual Meeting Dues and Contributions Annual dues are $10.00 payable with annual dues to the TAM All contributions beyond the annual dues are welcome and help to further the goals and programs of the Collection Managers Committee.
